💻 Professional Background

Over the past 7 years, I had the pleasure of working at Checkout.com as a Senior Software Engineer II. During this time, I developed and launched services for both synchronous and asynchronous processing of card payments and alternative payment methods, as well as clearing and settlement flows—leveraging C#, .NET, Docker, and AWS. I also led a remote squad to deliver a new market expansion and later led a Community of Practice with fellow senior engineers to drive service robustness and align with key company OKRs.After these impactful and rewarding years, I’ve decided to embark on a new chapter as an independent engineer.Before that, I worked for Wincor Nixdorf, where I developed a pioneering mobile solution in the retail sector, and for Copra System GmbH, contributing to the leading medical software used in hospitals in the German-speaking countries (DACH region).I hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering (recognized in Germany as a Master in Informatik und Rechentechnik).
